Concert Halls
Welcome to the concert halls of Nordic Concerts!
We are proud to reveal the consortium behind Nordic Concerts consisting of the seven leading concert halls in Northern Europe working together with Copenhagen Artists to bring about the Nordic Concerts international orchestral series.
Because four of the seven concert halls will be new – ‘DR Koncerthuset’ in Copenhagen, ‘Hamburg Philharmonic Hall /Laeiszhalle - Musikhalle Hamburg´, ‘The Icelandic National Concert and Conference Centre’ in Reykjavik and finally ‘Music Centre Helsinki’ in Helsinki – the series will progress in steps before eventually becoming the full blown five concert series in all seven halls.
Season 2009/2010 onwards will include Hamburg, Germany and bring the Nordic Concerts Orchestra Series to the following concert halls:
• DR Koncerthuset (Copenhagen, Denmark)
• Oslo Konserthus (Oslo, Norway)
• Stockholm Konserthus (Stockholm, Sweden)
• Hamburg Philharmonic Hall / Laeiszhalle - Musikhalle Hamburg - Germany
Season 2011/2012 includes three more concert halls in the Nordic Concerts Orchestra Series:
• Göteborg Konserthus (Gothenburg, Sweden)
• The Icelandic National Concert and Conference Centre (Reykjavik, Iceland)
• Music Centre Helsinki (Helsinki, Finland).
The concert hall in Hamburg, Germany, will be changed from Laeiszhalle to the new
• The Elbe Philharmonic Hall and Laeiszhalle (Hamburg, Germany)
In 2011/2012 the Nordic Concerts orchestra series will therefore visit six countries and the seven leading concert halls in the Nordic Countries: Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Hamburg, Oslo, Reykjavik and Stockholm.
On the right menu you’ll find further information on the concert halls included in the Nordic Concerts Orchestra Series.
